Windows 7: Add the full day of the week to the system tray on Win7

Sometimes we want to display the FULL date in the system tray. This includes the day of the week – for whatever reason you want.
To do so follow these steps:
Open Control Panel->Clock, Language, Region->Change the date, time, or number format->Additional Settings…->Date tab
Prepend dddd to the Short date: format
And then you will see the date like this in the system tray:

Actually, you can do one better, and have it just show the abbreviated name of the day, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun… Which takes up less space ;)
Just use “ddd” instead of “dddd”.
