I have flash working on the iPad – kinda…
Apr 13th
So out of necesisity (My little one really wanting to play NickJr video games on her iPad) I was able to rig up some working flash action. I needed to use a remote desktop application (VNC will work as well) and remote into a workstation on my home network. Using this computer I have full access to not only flash but also all of the Windows applications on the machine.
This works great for remoting into any of your internet accessible machines over your G3 connection or WiFi. I will throw together a tutorial in the near future but I had to share this with you in the mean time.

Setting up Office Communicator on your Blackberry
Apr 12th
I tend to miss messages on my Office Communicator AKA Enterprise Instant Messages when I am on a client’s site or even in the lab. So I wanted to setup my communicator on my Blackberry. I figured it wouldn’t be that hard but I had a few issues and figured I would share them so everyone can benefit.
Not everyone always wants to be connected but sometimes you need to be. Here are the steps you need to do to add Office Communicator to your Blackberry.
Download Blackberry desktop manager for your specific BB model. Your best bet here is to go to your phone’s carrier’s website and download it. Google “Verizon Blackberry Desktop Manager” and you will get a find a place to enter your phone number. Do so. You can replace Verizon with your carrier is applicable.Install the BBM on your computer.
- Connect your BB via USB or Bluetooth (this did not work easily/) Make sure you use a USB port on the back of your computer not connected to a USB hub.
- Download the appropriate Office Communicator for Blackberry from here: 2007 or 2005. Download the desktop version.
- Extract the folders.
- Launch your Desktop manager and go to applications.
- Point the browser to the directory you extracted the files/folders to in step 4.
- Log in to the app with your email address and correct password.
- Enjoy your communicator – now you can always stay connected!!!
Oh and while you are at it upgrade your BB’s operating system to 6 and enjoy a brand new device!
