This was a very enlightening discussion. I* never gave any thught to extending trial periods of software. Now i may consider using some more often. There is one problem, may hav restricted features so they are somewhat useless. Any way to fix this problem?

No dude, there may be other option like free serial keys, changing system time but why should anyone download this program to make run other program instead of downloading the same program with different version or searching serial keys..

manual ways : http://tip4tec.blogspot.com/2011/07/how-i-use-demo-software-product-forever.html

Hmm, you use software to do this?
I always just set the system clock ahead a couple years, load the program, then set the system clock back. Haven't found a program this doesn't fool yet.
