The Simple Backup option overwrites the previous backup file when you save and it doesn't have a time and date stamp.

The Verbose Backup option writes a new file every time you save and has a time and date stamp to tell them apart.

This is awesome.Using all the biggies for a 5 member group is surely an overkill and I always avoided them.I am going to implement it for my home working group.

Try this: http://www.switchonthecode.com/tech-news/notepadplusplus-subversion-plugin

I have used it, but it was in the early stages of its development, so i am not familiar with the latest version.

Limited functionality, but it is coming along.
