9675 by default and:

* 135 (WMI): Used to detect Windows computers.
* 22 (SSH): Used to detect Unix/Linux computers and some network devices.
* 9100 (Jet Direct): Used to detect printers.
* 5060 (SIP): Used to detect IP phones.
* 80 (HTTP): Used to detect servers.
o Some routers, hubs, switches, and printers can respond to HTTP. In these cases, Spiceworks will scan the webpage to obtain any helpful information.
* SNMP: Used to detect network devices such as printers, switches, etc.

I used the administrator account for setup scanning. There is firewalls running on all clients. Through GPO I can probably open ports up. Just not sure what ports to open! lol

What account did you use to set up scanning? Do you have a firewall running on the machines?

I just recently started using SpiceWorks. It really is nice. But nobody has given a clear answer to why there are sync errors or possible firewall errors.

SpicyAdmin – Have you had this problem? Is there a port I need to open up via GPO to my clients?
