It supports Regular Expressions, which makes it incredibly powerful (albeit slightly more challenging to master than other programs may be). It also supports plugins, both existing ones and user-created ones. It even supports editing comment tags (EXIF data for JPEGs and ID3v1/2 tags for MP3s).
