Mail2Web is no longer free but I have a solution for your free exchange like active syncing!
Can you believe that www.Mail2Web.com killed their free Exchange account’s ability to be sync over the air with activesync? I was more than pissed when I heard about it. You read about Commodore using it to sync his calendar and to do’s with his then fiancé who is now his wife. Commodore still needs that functionality and Mail2Web aint doing it for us anymore.
Guess who is going to save the day? It’s AskTheAdmin! Well actually it’s Google but the answer is brought to you by AskTheAdmin!

I was hoping for Direct Push like capability from Google Sync since I already check gmail with my windows mobile phone, but this only works for calendar and contacts:
“Note, though, that Google Sync doesn’t allow your users to synchronize their email with their phones”

It is lacking in that sense but Mail2Web still offers that for free – just no contacts and calendar, which in this case was what the user needed.
Thanks for stopping by Misha!
