Try the Firefox Add-on, Add to Search Bar 1.7. Once installed, just right-click in a search field, choose the “Add to Search Bar” option from the context menu, and DONE.

I added a search link for GoDaddy.com and TigerDirect, since I found myself using them more than a lot of other things. And obviously the Wikipedia one. That's a heavy one for me.
