Note how Microsoft STILL uses restrictive measures to limit how well you can downgrade. Once again Linux has Microsoft beat by the sheer NATURE of free redistribution: IF I don’t like the version I’m using, I can grab the previous ISO and roll with that. No piracy, no hoop-jumping. No having to BUY a previous version, either.

Microsoft would instead have you jump through their hoops and subject you to what strikes me, judging by this article, as an even more restrictive EULA than what they USED to provide for XP. Punishment for not following Microsoft’s mandated upgrade path, perhaps?

Generally speaking, though, moves like this, this “downgrade rights” offer are pure PR nonsense. Microsoft only wants their users going one direction, and it isn’t back to XP.

You can’t always have your cake and eat it too! Some apps are compatible with both XP and VISTA and others only one or the other.

Thanks and yes I need a lot of help here. How I can downgrade it? I have some software cd’s and they don’t work under vista that’s why I wanna downgrade it. But there are some softwares here came with machine and I don’t want to lose some of them.

You don’t have to do anything!

You CAN downgrade if you want to and the drivers are available. Let me know if you need some more help Kahire!
