2. go to “Run” using the arrow keys

Better yet, lose the lame Task Manager and pickup System Internals Process Explorer. Then under options check “replace task manager”.
Then when you use the ctrl-shift-esc shortcut Process Explorer opens.
I just detest task manager. It might have been nice on Windows 95 but you think they could have made some improvements since then. System Internals is now owned by Microsoft.
