Try typing in regedit and hitting enter, you dont even have to wait for the search to complete, this also works for bringing up a normal mode command prompt. Unless you have turned off UAC or are logged in with the normally hidden &quot;administrator&quot; account you will still have to right-click to get an elevated prompt.  </description>
