Yes, we know you have taken a million digital photos over the last year, on your fancy shmancy new camera. And we also know the holiday season is almost upon us. Being the geek that you are, you could not just leave your pictures named digital_image_13456.jpg for your slide shows…
We just couldn’t have that now, [...]

By default your windows XP machine shows the Printers and Faxes share along with the Scheduled Tasks folder. You can make use of the scheduled tasks folder like this or use a remote printer share to quickly install a remote printer.
Some people like this, most people don’t use it and a few people REALLY hate [...]

If you have a hard drive of unknown origins there are times when you just can’t format it using the normal methods like an OS’s installer or Windows built in Disk Configuration Utility. NTFS’s good old security tries to do you dirty as well. It can be a real pain in the ass.
But AtA has [...]
Hey Kiddies,

Fellow MakeUseOf blogger, Mark O’Neil, put us onto a method of running an installer in a “Safe Space” using the Run As command (This uses “The protect my computer and data from unauthorized programs” activity check box).
This is a great method for running programs that might be a little suspicious. That little check box [...]

This has been around for a while. I used my Sidekick II for Blogging my Vacation last year. I just created a Draft Email and updated it as the day progressed. At the end of the day, I would send my Email/Post to my Blogger. I had my Mom and Friends check my Blog every day to see what was new. You can add Pictures to your Email/Post as well.

Works Great! Plus, they seemed to have fixed another problem with Blogger and Windows Mobile. A lot of people (including myself) were experiencing a glitch when visiting Blogger sites on their Windows Mobile devices. The "You have Flagged this Page as having Objectionable Content" would happen every time you tried to visit any site. So I stopped viewing my Blogger Pages because I didn't want to flag myself. That does not happen anymore.
I Love your site! Very informative and useful.
