This is just hilarious, and I am sure it was just a joke, but that doesn’t make it less funny. This question came from Yahoo! Answers where people can ask question for just about anything. I sometimes drop by to answer questions and help out the best I can. This one was the funniest. I took a screen shot for your viewing pleasure, along with my answer.

That’s awesome. I’ve been using computers since the old TRaSh 80. And on every single occasion that the “ANY” key was required, I have ALWAYS pressed the space bar. Maybe the language/convention should just be changed to “press the space bar to continue.” It might finally solve the noob confusion.

Haha I had a good laugh at this. IT may sound stupid and funny but Andrew’s question is an eye-opener for those who use the phrase “Press any key” to change it to the right one or to a key that can be seen on the keyboard. :)
