Samsung Sch-i760 review
We Swore off touch screens a while back but this SCH-I760 is a real pleasure. Everything we have been getting to review recently has been really cool! I don’t know if its just in a good mood or the lack of sleep but this Samsung Windows Mobile 6 Pro with slide out keyboard is sweet.
We loaded up some of our favorite software and messed around with it for a bit but unfortunately our demo didn’t have a demo account associated with it. And seeming Verizon doesn’t use Sims we could not swap one of our many sims into it.
Don’t get me wrong we love being one of the first kids on the block with a new toy but with out service we couldn’t give it the once over – but it is running Evdo, WiFi B, G and a 1.3 mega pixel camera. The slide on the keyboard is very slick and habit forming. Be fore warned. Wifey thinks it is a little annoying :).
It retails for $350 after a $50 mail in rebate from Verizon Wireless on a NEW two year contract. We are big fans of Samsung Products and have our eye on the Juke next. [Product Page]

for anyone that might come across this page, I have to completely disagree.
I've been using it for about 6 months now and overall I describe the phone as Bulky, Slow, Over-Priced, and having Fragile Poor (CUSTOMER) Service.
The core +'s are the touch screen, numbers on front, and the dual keyboard (though there are better ones out there).
The phone is really too thick for today's smart phone. The phone is slow changing between programs compared to other smart phones with Windows 6 I have used. Additionally, samsung really has not built a long term quality product here. The phone has broken twice in 6 months (1 LCD going blank white with no physical damage but samsung still charged 100 dollars for it to be fixed) and another hardware burn out (repaired under warranty after samsung had the phone for 1 full month — that's one month where i did not have a phone at all but was still paying for verizon service!).

All I can say is… Wow.
I would love to hear what our Samsung PR rep has to say about this. We feel for ya Rom. Where are you @ now with them?

Are you still using the Samsung phone, or have you switched?
