I've been an Ubuntu user on 2 of my 3 home machines for over a year now. (The third is a Windows Media Center PC, and I have been looking at ways to replace it with Linux.)It took me a few tries before I switched permanently. I usually ran into to a problem, but each time I learned more and more until I could finally do everything I needed to; torrents, video encoding, DVD/CD burning etc, and I think Linux does all these thing better.
