However it has some weak points which may prevent the readers (newbies) from applying the steps you depicted: - (step2) your FSTAB -> where is the end of the line, man? - (step5) your commands looks like they are endless. I don't have problems with this but it's not looking good for linux newbies. - (step5) again - explain that your commands are not hardcoded. hda7 is hda7 in your case.
