Several applications are available to help you tweak Windows Vista for maximum performance.
They include TweakVI (http://www.totalidea.com/) , TweakVista (www.tweakvista.com/tweakvistautility), and VistaBootPRO (http://www.vistabootpro.org/). And don’t forget about Windows ReadyBoost, which lets you use a removable flash memory drive to boost system memory.
Are you using any of these apps or Ready Boost on your Vista Machine? Let us know in the comments!

Wife and I have identicle laptops running Vista Home Premium.I use Ready Boost while she does not. I noticed no difference in performance, speed, or booting up.I am using a one gig flash drive with all of the space dedicated to the program.
The laptops are Presario V6000’s, 1 gig ram,AMD 2000ghz Turion.
