Sending large files via email.
Sending a file using email is always a hit and miss situation, your provider may allow a certain file size, but will the recipient’s provider allow the same size or smaller?
So to help with this issue, Arunalabs have created a service called Arunasend, what this enables you to do is send a file with a max size of 100Meg to anyone via email. The recipient gets a link via email which points to the file on Arunalabs’s server.
With these types of services my concern is always about privacy, Arunalabs are working on a permission system for the service, but isn’t there quite yet. So I wouldn’t go sending off your Quickbooks
files or other sensitive info of that nature over it, but for helping clients out with patches, service packs etc, its ideal.

Chaps,
Found this site yesterday;

Pretty slick and fast. Can send up to 100MB files from the free lite service. Can even use the anonymous account.
I’ve actually singed up for one of the premium accounts so i can send CD image files overseas but if you don’t need this amount of storage then probably no point.
Cheers,
Mike
